Head Girls/Boys Nordic Skiing coach - grades 6-11

Mid November - Mid February 2024/25 (hiring immediately)

Practices will be held on high school grounds on our new Stella Maris 5k trail.

Coach Duties and Responsibilities

The SMA nordic ski coach will be expected to organize practices 3-5 days per week and coach at competitions scheduled by the activities director.  The number of competitions can be customized to the coaches availability.  

Coaches will be responsible for representing and working to instill the SMA mission statement values in all team members.  Coach will also work to build a youth ski program.

Girls Tennis Coach - grades 4-6

Mid August - Mid October (hiring immediately)

Four, one-hour practices per week (Monday - Thursday) 

Coach Duties and Responsibilities

The SMA girls elementary school tennis coach will report to Mr. Reier Sjomeling, the head coach, and be responsible for building fundamentals and having a lot of fun on the tennis court.  Practices will be at the Woodland courts located very near Stella Maris Academy-St. John’s and High School Campuses.

Coaches will be responsible for representing and working to instill the SMA mission statement values in all team members.  Coach will also work to build a youth golf program.
